Beach Bonfires at Daytona Beach

Updated: 4 days ago

Whether you are a couple looking for a romantic and intimate sunset experience on the beach, planning a special birthday party, getting together with old friends, or even a corporate event, a bonfire on Volusia County's famous beaches might fit the bill.

If a beach bonfire sounds good for your event, you have several options to pull it off. Volusia County allows beach bonfires from Ormond Beach to New Smyrna Beach, but there are specific rules and regulations to ensure safety and protect the environment.

If your budget is tight, you can reserve a free fire pit from Volusia County's Beach Safety Division from November to April which is outside of the sea turtle nesting season. You will need to provide all your own wood, and must remove your coals and dispose of them off the beach when finished. The link above details all other rules and regulations which need to be followed.

Sound like a lot of work? Fear not. Beachcampfires.com offers several different A-Z packages to make your event not only a success but a specially memorable experience for all. From a simple bonfire with wood included and provided Adirondack chairs, beach barbecues, intimate beach teepees for the prefect romantic interlude, to catered corporate events, Beachcampfires.com does it all. They have specific locations, or you can request a custom location. The options are almost endless so your special night can be customized to satisfy whatever your needs may be. 'Tis the season, so don't wait.
